I really like the way you do cars. I'm a huge Volvo fan in the states. I can't seem to find any Volvo people here who are in my age-group *(university student).

I use coral painter for my digital painting, I use Palette Knives tool (Loaded palette knives), Pens (Scratchboard tool).
Try out and see if you like it. I really enjoy painting in this program.
Also try lower opacity brushes and layering for more gradation.
I try to paint freely and think about my light source and focal point( where do you want the viewer to see).
Most important, having fun^^
